These are the first rough montages for the multimedia project
The Sevenness of the Week
Both paintings and photographs have been used for the montages. For example Athoth's head comes from "Bodas misticas del venerable Agnesio y Santa Ines" by Juan de Juanes c.1560 while Yao's seven heads come from "Evenenamentos por animales" by Arturo Valledor de Lozoya, 1994.
The body - each time the same, though it's position changes - are original photographs of a kind volunteer.
The montages will be tidied up and will then star in an animation. This will open with points of light on the screen - multiplying in arithmetical patterns until 365 points are on the screen (see Apocryphon of John). The seven characters will then emerge one by one from the centre of this image.
This project is part of the Master in Digital Arts of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona.
